What to Expect at Race City Amusement Park

Race City Amusement Park is your destination for fun for the whole family. You can race on go karts, get your thrill on some classic amusement park rides, get competitive with indoor blacklight mini golf, or fly high into the air on the Skycoaster! This park is a totally unique attraction, featuring the fastest, steepest, and tallest go kart tracks in Panama City Beach, Florida, as well as the only Skycoaster in the city.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Head into the Mega-Arcade to play all your favorite classic games and try to win a cool prize, or cool off and get splashed on the bumper boats. The Spin Zone is another unique addition to the park, or you can experience the fascinating fantasy adventure in the Fun House. The possibilities are endless!

Who is the park geared for?

One of the best things about Race City is how family-friendly it is. It’s truly designed for the tiniest tots all the way up to the oldest adults. Attractions like the go-karts and thrill rides are great if you want something fast-paced, but if you want to take it easy, you can visit options like mini-golf or bumper boats. There’s a little something for everyone here, making it a great place to let the family run wild!

What are the hours/season and prices?

Open times for Race City Amusement Park can vary by season, but currently for 2020, hours are Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. until 11 p.m.

Prices are individual to their respective attractions, but there is a budget-friendly way to tackle the park. You can purchase an unlimited armband to get access to everything! An armband for a guest 54” and above costs $48.60, while an armband for someone under 54” costs $39.25. Keep in mind that unlimited armband access ends at 10 p.m., so if you stay until closing, you’ll have to pay per ride.

How to get to Race City Amusement Park

If you’re staying in one of our rentals here at Dunes of Panama, you’ll be just 7 minutes away from Race City! To get there, simply head southeast on C R 392/Thomas Drive toward Venus Street. Make a U-turn after 0.1 miles, then drive 1.2 miles before turning right onto Joan Avenue. After about one mile, you’ll then turn left onto FL-30 W/Front Beach Road to get to the amusement park.
